Kayo — Creation · Brand identity

A brand people recognise at first glance, on every one of your touchpoints.

A logo is not enough. A brand identity is a name, a logo, colours, typefaces, a tone of voice, and the way all of it plays out on your website, your social media, your documents. Kayo designs that whole with you, then produces the content that brings it to life: copy, visuals, photo and short video when the project calls for it.

What happens today

Every touchpoint was made at a different time. Nothing matches.

It is not a lack of taste. It is that nobody ever wrote down the rules.

How it works

Understand, propose, roll out.

An identity is built from who you are and who you want to convince. Not from a trend.

Step 01

Positioning

A conversation about your business, your customers, your competitors and what you want people to remember. From it we derive a written frame: what the brand asserts, who it speaks to, how it speaks.

Step 02

Creative directions

We present two or three distinct directions, each with logo, colours, typefaces and application examples. You choose, we refine until sign-off.

Step 03

Guidelines and content

The chosen direction is rolled out into brand guidelines and ready-to-use files. Depending on scope, we write the key copy and produce the visuals, photos or short videos that go with it.

What changes

Before and after: what actually changes.

You keep what sets you apart. You gain a consistency your customers notice.

Illustrative example

A caterer opening a second location who finally wants a single brand.

Fictional example to show the process. Timelines are those of a typical project and vary with scope.

  1. Week 1

    Positioning

Two locations, two logos, two ways of speaking. The conversation brings out what matters: homemade food, proximity, a business clientele. The frame is written on one page.

  2. Week 2

    Directions

Three directions presented: one understated, one warm, one more graphic. The caterer picks the warm one, with the typography of the third.

  3. Week 3

    Guidelines

Final logo, palette, typefaces, usage rules. Instagram templates and quote template delivered. A half-day photo shoot is organised in the kitchen.

  4. Week 4

    Roll-out

Key copy rewritten, signage ordered with the vector files, email signatures harmonised. The two locations now speak with one voice.

Illustrative scenario: scope, timelines and deliverables are examples. They are defined with you, based on your business. An illustration is not a promise of results.

Frequently asked questions

Before you ask.

I keep my logo, but the rest does not follow. Is that possible?

Yes. An identity can be built around an existing logo, refined if necessary. The quote is adjusted accordingly.

What does the “from” price include?

Positioning, creative directions, the final logo with its variants and brand guidelines. Content, copy, photos, videos, is priced according to scope.

Do you also handle copy, photos, videos?

Yes. Copywriting is done in-house; photo and short video are coordinated with partners, under the same art direction, so everything stays consistent.

How many creative directions are proposed?

Two or three, genuinely different. More serves no purpose: the goal is to decide, not to collect.

Next step

Describe your project and we will reply with a clear proposal.

A few lines are enough: your business, what you expect from the project, your timeline. No need to have everything figured out.
