Your questions. Our clear answers.
How much does a chatbot cost?
From €1,800, third-party tools extra: AI model subscription, automation tool, any calendar tool. The final price is the one in the signed quote. No VAT is charged (VAT exemption).
What can the chatbot do?
Answer your visitors' frequent questions, offer slots and book appointments, collect their contact details and hand over to a person on your team. The use is defined with you and approved in writing before the work starts.
How do you avoid incorrect answers?
No AI model guarantees that its answers are accurate, and we don't guarantee it either. We limit the chatbot to the defined use, test it before going live, document its limits and set human oversight rules. While it is being put into service, you approve its outputs before any action with consequences. No decision is automated without human oversight.
Does the visitor know they are talking to an AI?
They must know: this is the transparency obligation of Article 50 of the European AI Regulation, applicable since 2 August 2026. Under our AI charter, informing visitors is your responsibility, unless it is agreed that Kayo builds this information into the chatbot. Each party's role is set out in writing before the project.
Where is the data hosted?
It depends on the data hosting level agreed in the quote: standard, EU light or EU guaranteed, depending on how sensitive your data is. Personal data is only processed with your consent and under the data processing agreement (DPA) concluded with the quote. No sensitive data is processed without your prior consent.
Which tools is the chatbot built with?
Depending on the project, on an n8n base (automation tool) and Claude (Anthropic's AI model). Their subscriptions and hosting are paid by you, shown separately from fees in the quote.
What happens when a person needs to take over?
The handover is part of the journey: the chatbot passes the conversation and the contact details on to your team, following the rules defined with you during scoping.
What happens after go-live?
The integration is under warranty for 30 days from acceptance. After that, a monthly quality follow-up is available as an option, priced separately.
